Birds and Bees

INT. TEENAGERS BEDROOM.

BRIAN IS SAT ON HIS BED PLAYING A HAND-HELD CONSOLE GAME.

AFTER KNOCKING ON THE DOOR, BRIAN'S FATHER ENTERS SHEEPISHLY.

FATHER:
You busy?

BRIAN PUT'S DOWN HIS CONSOLE.

BRIAN:
Not really Dad. What's up?

BRIAN'S FATHER TAKES A SEAT BESIDE BRIAN.

FATHER:
Your mum thinks it's about time we had a little chat.

BRIAN:
What about?

FATHER:
Well, this may be a little uncomfortable for you, but every teenager goes through a period in their lives where it's necessary to talk about certain things with their parents.

BRIAN:
Like what?

FATHER:
Well, how can I put this... er... well... (SIGH) Brian, I think we need to talk about sex.

A BRIEF MOMENT OF DISCOMFORT PASSES BETWEEN THE TWO.

BRIAN:
Do we have to?

FATHER:
Well, your mum thinks so.

BRIAN SIGHS, AND RELUCTANTLY NODS.

BRIAN:
Okay Dad.

FATHER:
Good. Okay...

BRIAN'S FATHER TAKES A DEEP BREATH TO STEADY HIS NERVES.

FATHER: (CONTINUED)
I'll start. (PAUSE) What's a Dirty Sanchez?

FADE OUT.
