Club Life

Youth searching women and pubescent girls

Stage a frenzied attack on the floor,

Whilst a handful of pampered pursuant persuaders

Watch and wait for their chance to score.

Skylights that highlight strange laser-like beams.

Smooth barmen serve cocktails with care,

Whilst sombrous doormen watch over the crowd

Waiting for wars to declare.

Long distant glances and short distances love,

A hotbed of passion and hate.

Numbered rejections and casual objections

In search of a nocturnal mate.

Smart dress essential, pretension persists,

Reality can’t be allowed.

A shielding of conscience, a showcase of lies

For acceptance as one of the crowd.
